Hampshire Pewter is of the highest quality and is safe for use with food and beverages. It is easy to care for. Wash with warm water and mild soap and towel dry after use.
About once a year, clean your pewter with a good pewter wash. Rub on with a soft, wet cloth, rinse and dry thoroughtly. Then apply cornstarch with a soft cloth or towel and your pewter will look like new.
Fine steel wool or Scotchbrite may be used to remove stains or scratches on the brushed finish.
Do not put pewter in a dishwasher, the oven, or in direct contact with a heating element.
